Inclement weather - The Burlington Integrated Preschool will not be open when the Burlington Public Schools are canceled due to hazardous or inclement weather conditions. The school department may also call for a delayed opening on days when weather prevents school from opening at the regular time. ON DELAYED OPENING DAYS, there will be no morning session, but afternoon class will be held. If afternoon class is cancelled, you will be contacted. Announcements are made on the major AM radio stations and on television as well as our BCAT channels. In other cases, parents may use their own discretion when sending their child to school. Holidays - The program follows the Burlington Public School calendar (which is enclosed with this packet) and will be closed on designated holidays, vacations and staff development days. |
