1. Ability to access web site. (25 Pts.)

Does the child know here to put an address?

Can the child write a web site address correctly and accurately?

Does the child know how to access search engines?

Does the child know how to enter a search for material?

2. Child can locate appropriate information within the web site based on teacher directed questions?

3. Child can take notes concerning information given. (If in a group situation, child will initial the note provided to ensure equal access)

4. Group confers on information obtained to assess their understanding of the material obtained and their agreement to the information stated.

5 Teacher confers group to assess the accuracy of the group’s information and at completion of conference initials and dates the completion of this conference. Without initial and date child can not proceed to the project phase.

    1. Travel brochure on a New England Colony (New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island)
    2. Famous People Booklet
    3. Poster of a Colony
    4. Creation of a Timeline for New England Settlements

You will be judged on your final project using the following criteria:

Oral presentation (25 pt.)

Project Content (25 pt )

Neatness and appearance (10 pt.)

Attendance on task (10 pt.)

Site citation ( 5 pt)
