General Information about the Library

The Fox Hill School Library is open to all students and staff throughout the school day. The Library schedule is a combination of Flexibly-scheduled blocks and fixed blocks of time. Students are limited to checking out the number of books based on grade:

Kindergarten and First Grade - 1 book at a time

Second grade - 2 books

Third grade - 3 books

Fourth grade - 4 books

Fifth grade - 5 books

Books are due back one week from the day they are checked out for students in grades K-3, and two weeks after they are checked out for 4th and 5th graders. Students with overdue books do not check out new books until they are returned or renewed.

If books cannot be found, the lost book fine is $3.00 for paperbacks and $5.00 for hardcover books. This will help defer the cost of replacing the lost book.

The librarian can be reached at the Fox Hill Library at 781-270-1799 or downes@burlington.mec.edu
