Burlington Before and After School Programs ~ MSMS

 

1. The Homework Clinic is a year long program that meets two afternoons a week from 1:55pm-3:25pm. The cost to parents is $175.00. The "Clinic" is available to students in grades 6, 7, and 8 and emphasizes study skills and the successful completion of daily homework assignments.


2. MCAS Math Prep is offered for 16 one and one-half hour sessions to students in grades 7 and 8. MCAS Math Prep is free and delivers 8 sessions to grade 8 and 8 sessions to grade 7. The focus of the program is to prepare students for the kind of questions and problems they will see on the 2008 MCAS Test in mathematics.


3. We offer a year long school activity in our fitness center for all middle school students. It meets for one hour on two days a week. Students use various kinds of fitness equipment that enhances their health, strength, and wellness. A physical education and a health teacher supervise the program. There is no cost to parents.
